MATT JENSON - Unmarked Routes (album release concert)

Concert Description:

An ambient-neoclassical-dub-piano-with-electronics concert of unmarked routes through dematerialized sonic hypnogogy, luxuriating in atmospheres and drone-tones of awe and fascination, where thoughts and feelings of division have no safe harbor. A low-lit performance delivering a bath of sound, where iridescent, gauzy melodies collide in slow motion with decolonized electronic soundscapes, a grand piano, a string quartet, a pair of dancers and translucent voices. A lo-fi dubbed-out experience with faded trance rhythms that superposition themselves in your being with the lucid assurance that a beautiful outcome will bloom if together we direct our attention to it. 

Spectrally presented by Berklee professor of piano, Matt Jenson and his cadre of iridescent players and dancers including Catherine Bent (cello), Bengisu Gokce (violin), Mimi Rabson (violin/viola) and Stan Strickland (woodwinds and more), Carey Mckinley (dance) and Sarah Slifer Swift (dance.)
