This is Matt's very first recording of his original music self released , February 2001. The sub title of the album is "This is Acid Reggae." At the time the term "Acid Jazz" had made it's mark and Matt, with his emerging obsession with roots reggae adopted the name for the reggae idiom. It was recorded in Portsmouth, NH where he was living at the time, not long after he had completed his masters degree in Jazz Studies at New England Conservatory of Music.
